1955 Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe, Chassis No. 817232, Matching Numbers Car in very good condition. A very high end driver or a close to ready for show car. This car has been owned by a little old lady from Pasadena (we are serious you can speak with her if you like) for the last 30 years. Only 4,141 miles put on since purchased and restored. There is a pic of the car ready for paint included in this listing. It has a custom solid black walnut dash. It has been converted to a manual choke. This car is ready to drive and in excellent condition. The only issues we know of are that the turn signal delay is too short, the washer for the windshield is not working, the mufflers have dents from shipping and the paint is not show car condition (but its still very nice).

Here is the owners description of the cars history:

Just prior to purchasing the engine had a complete rebuild. I drove the car a few miles before taking it in to the body restoration shop to have the body stripped, no rust at all anywhere, and painted. Upholstery and top were done and Roy Duncan replaced the entire wiring harness. He re-did all brakes, suspension, etc., and I replaced the fuel tank with a brand new one. During the time the body work was being done, I had all the chrome re-done. I replaced the old wire wheels with polished stainless steel and new specified tires with tubes. I had the interior rear view mirror re-silvered, the solid black walnut dash made, plus the various wood blocks along the body above the doors when shut, replaced all the interior wood along the back where the top fastens and much more.
